The scientific committee of SMIT2014 welcomes the submission of abstracts for Scientific Oral or Poster Presentation. Only on-line Abstract Submission at the official website is accepted.

Abstract(s) Instruction
- Abstract should be written and presented in English.
- It is possible to submit more than one abstract. If submitting more than one abstract, each abstract must be submitted separately.
- Authors should indicate their presentation preference, poster presentation only/ poster or oral presentation.
- There can be no more than twenty-five (25) authors per abstract.
- Please structure your abstract using the following headings: Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion. No excess of 300 words.
- Tables, diagram and picture are allowed in the abstract. (All the figures should be submitted in JPG Format)
Online Submission
The abstract submission process is broken into seven steps (see below). For each of the steps, please ensure that all mandatory fields are populated with the correct information. Make certain that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted.

Abstracts Acceptance
- After having submitted your abstract, you will receive a confirmation with your Abstract ID. If you want to make corrections to an abstract already submitted, you may log into abstract submission system with your registered email address and password.
- Peer Reviews will be completed and Author notifications will be made after July 18, 2014. When you receive notification that your abstract has been accepted, you will be sent instructions to assist you in the preparation of your oral or poster presentation.
- If an abstract is accepted, one author must register and attend the conference.
- Corrections to abstracts can only be made up to the deadline of July 18, 2014. Any changes after the submission site closes need to be communicated in the form of a written statement to the SMIT 2014 Scientific Program Committee.
